G-Dragon gathers 80,000 fans at his Seibu Dome concert

According to a YG Entertainment’s announcement on April 22, G-Dragon got 80,000 fans excited at his S  aitama Seibu Dome concert in Japan on April 20 and 21. This tour has drawn a lot of attention because it’s the first time for a Korean solo artist to perform at four Japanese domes (Seibu Dome, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Nagoya Dome, and Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome), which are the largest venues of G-Dragon’s international tour.
Even though the weather was cold with the roof of the Seibu Dome half opened, the artist gave powerful performances starting with “Michi Go,” which was released recently through the smartphone messenger LINE, and continuing with such hits as “Heartbreaker,” “One of a Kind,” “Crayon,” and “Fantastic Baby.” Tae Yang, a member of Big Bang, performed “Bad Boy” as a special guest.
G-Dragon said, “I was a little worried about my first solo concert, but I’m happy to be with you now. I hope to perform not only by myself but with all Big Bang members next time.”
Travis Payne and Stacey Walker, who were choreographer and assistant producer in Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour, joined G-dragon’s tour as creative directors and Micheal Gorten, the former stage designer of Micheal Jackson’s tour, also joined the concert.
He will continue his tour in Osaka Kyosera Dome in April 27 and 29, and a total 360,000 fans will attend his concerts, which will be held eight times in four different cities in Japan.
